In the realm of nautical dreams, where lighthouses gleam,
Stands a beacon of wisdom, like a sailor’s cherished theme.
As Anne Lamott once wisely said, in her poetic might,
“Lighthouses don’t go running,” they simply shine bright.
A dominant, in this analogy, is like that tower tall,
Guiding their submissive, never fearing to fall.
With a steady beam of guidance, they lead the way,
But it’s up to the submissive, which course to obey.
No Transformer magic, no racing to and fro,
Just a steadfast presence, in ebb and flow.
For the submissive holds the helm, their destiny in hand,
Choosing to follow the light, or drift upon the sand.
Yet should they falter, and veer off course,
The dominant stands ready, with unwavering force.
Like a Coast Guard on duty, they’ll come to the aid,
Investigating errors, ensuring mistakes are laid.
So in the dance of dominance, let the lighthouse be,
A symbol of strength, for all the world to see.
With guidance and rescue, in the dominion’s reign,
Together they navigate, through sunshine and rain.
